Ankle Joint Orthesis curative with splints – III.
Orthesis for full ankle-joint fixation, fitted with two plastic lateral splints and a duralimin splint, anatomically shapeable splint in the calf part, that ensure together a sufficient joint fixation with the mentioned indications. It is made of two textile parts, Velcro allows individually adapt the size up to the size of extremity. The orthesis is designed for patients with unadvisable walking and stressing of the affected extremity.
Indications:
Orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation
- states after severe ankle distortions with distension of ligaments
- after treatment of ankle fractures when it is necessary to keep the ankle rigidity
- states with disorganization of the collateral ligaments when the operation is not suitable
