The orthesis is fitted with a one-axis hinge with an option of limited range of motion per 10 degrees by means of insertion of stops into the marked scale holes. Range of motion: 0 to 120 degrees flexion, 0 to 80 degrees extension. The range of motion is limited before the orthesis is put on the extremity.

Indications:

Orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation

• Acute states:
• distension of lateral and cruciate ligaments, distortion of knee joint, meniscus injury
• Chronic states:
• knee joint instability caused by post-traumatic ligaments deficiency, collateral as well as anteroposterior ligaments
• post-operative treatment of such states
• post-traumatic states and relaxation of muscle tone of the lower extremities disabling the walking, states after cerebrovascular accidents
