Knee Joint Orthesis, Rigid - Straight
The orthesis replaces the plaster fixation of shank, knee and distal part of the thigh. The fixation consists in the knee-joint extension. It is made of textile fabric of sandwich type. Three duralumin splints, which are fixedly inserted into the textile part of orthesis, ensure rigidity and stability of product. The orthesis consists of three textile parts which are attached by Velcro and after the lateral parts are unbuttoned, it is possible to simply adjust the orthesis volume individually upon girth of the extremity.
Indications:
Orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation
- acute treatment after conservatively healed injuries of collateral ligaments
- undisplaced fractures in the area of knee joint
- postoperative treatment during healing of the above mentioned states
