It is a rigid orthesis for knee joint fixation at 20 degrees flexion, replacing the plaster fixations. It is made of textile fabric of sandwich type. Three duralumin splints, which are fixedly inserted into the textile part of orthesis, ensure sufficient rigidity and stability of product. The main application of the orthesis is during postoperative treatment with the below mentioned indications. In consideration of physiological position of the joint, the kneejoint ligaments are sufficiently released. The orthesis can be adjusted by lateral parts upon girth of patient‘s extremity.

Orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation

• acute treatment after conservatively healed injuries of collateral ligaments
• undisplaced fractures in the area of knee joint
• postoperative treatment during healing of the above mentioned states
