Knee Joint Orthesis rigid with 20 degrees flexion, one-part
It is a rigid orthesis for knee joint fixation at 20 degrees flexion, replacing any plaster fixations. It is made as a one-part textile appliance of sandwich type. Three duralumin splints are inserted into the removable capsules. Thereby the lateral splints can be positioned correctly upon individual girth of patient‘s extremity. The rear splint is anatomically shaped. In consideration of physiological position of the joint, the knee-joint ligaments are sufficiently released. The openings in the front part improve airiness of the orthesis.

Orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation
- acute treatment after conservatively healed injuries of collateral ligaments
- undisplaced fractures in the area of knee joint
- postoperative treatment during healing of the above mentioned states
