The orthesis sufficiently fixes the shoulder joint after the reattachment of traumatic luxations and enables movement of shoulder joint within the safety zone without a risk of reluxation and avoiding the post-fixation stiffness of the shoulder. The orthesis can be applied for co-operative patients as an appliance after stable and undisplaced fractures of the proximal end of humerus and after acromioclavicular injuries of Tossy type I. The advantage of this orthesis is a weight distribution to both of shoulders.

Indications:

Orthopaedics, traumatology, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation

• shoulder joint distortion
• distension in the area of shoulder girdle
• tears of the supraspinatus muscle
• acute and chronic joint capsulitis and tendinitis in the area of shoulder joint, rotator cuff syndromes
• postoperative states in the area of shoulder joint (recurrent luxation, AC luxation, impingement syndromes, humeral fractures incl. instable ones after UHN fixation)
• conservative treatment of cominutive fractures proximal
